I decided I want to give each of my BM’s a beach bag (with their initials on them, and a waterproof internal pocket) for a “christmas/will you be my BM” gift. (I am getting married in the Keys, so I thought the beach bag was a good idea – I am still patting myself on the back for that one!!) The pattern is pretty easy, and I think I can pop out 6 of these bags in the next 2 weeks.
But, I tried to re-fill my bobbin last night, and the bobbin-spinner thing (I have no clue about proper sewing terminology!) stopped working! So, Fiance and I took apart my sewing machine, and *kinda* got it working again using rubber bands and tree sap. (yeah, thats right, tree sap!) If it goes, it is not the end of the world – I can use his power drill to “manually” thread bobbins as I need them.
But seriously?? Now the machine decided to break?! I am just starting my DIY projects, and I need my machine to be ready for duty for the next 1.5 years!!!
Just needed to vent! Anyone else have machines crap out on them at inconvenient times?
