I have larger boobs and a dress that couldn’t handle them. Regular sewn in cups would not have helped. I found a strapless bra that worked with the lines of the dress and had a seamstress sew it into the dress. This way it wouldn’t show no matter what shifted. It also ensured that the bra wouldn’t roll/shift down during hours of dancing. This solution worked great for me. I felt much more secure than I’ve ever felt in a regular strapless bra before.

hunting_bride :  I am having a corset bra sewn into my dress. I am very large busted and even with my dress being a corset, I need some extra support. It’s similar to this:

Cups by themselves would not be enough to support me, and by having this sewn in I’m gauranteed to not see it popping out of the dress.

hunting_bride :  maybe I’m being daft here, but could you not just pull the band of the bra down at the back so that it doesn’t show?

It doesn’t always have to be dead straight across your back (mine rarely is lol)

hunting_bride :  I had a backless dress and had cups sewn in.  I’m a 34DD so I was worried that they wouldn’t be supportive enough, but I had no issues 🙂

I had the toughest time picking a bra that was comfortable. I ended up getting these (which come in two sizes small cup and large cup) paired with the fact your dress is a corset back I didn’t even get mine sewn in because of this and just used the double stick tape.

I am having the cups sewn in as well. The dress is altered perfectly to your body so your breasts should stay put.

I’m having cups sewn in because it’s easier and the back on my dress is so low a bra is not possible
