Hi Bees! When I purchased my dress, my consultant said I could have cups sewn in and also wear a bra with the dress. Is that what some of you do–have cups sewn in addition to wearing a bra? I’ve been losing weight and the “girls” have deflated a bit, I used to wear a d, but, now in a c and let’s just say they aren’t too perky (TMI) but necessary for this discussion I think. It’s a halter style dress with a deep v cut in the front. I don’t mind the cleavage at all, just wondering why I should have both. I go for my first and only fitting next week. Thanks in advance y’all!

I haven’t heard of wearing both cups AND a bra. I think it would end up looking like too much padding. When I was trying on my dress, the tailor showed me what it would look like with cups, and it just made my boobs look fake, because the cups were so big!
If you want perkiness, I’d go for a push-up bra instead of the cups. I think cups are usually used if the cut of the dress makes it hard to wear an actual bra.

I am having cups sewn in and NOT wearing a bra. What’s the point of both? I guess if you want major lift it might work, but it just sounds uncomfortable to me.
