Well, if this is a real post…pardon me for questioning it.  But, I will give you small amount of assuming I am going to do about the subject.

I have been to China, not Thailand.  And in China you can not drink the water, you have to drink treated bottled water ONLY.  BUT, you still take showers and baths in the water.

So, I think any infections that you may get would be intestinal.  I.e. diarrhea, and vomiting.  And to get those you would have to ingest the water.

But, like I said, I know nothing about Thailand, nor its water content.

We went to Thailand a couple of years ago – and are having our Destination Wedding there this year. There is no probs with sex in the bath/shower! We had a private outdoor shower – and I can tell you there were no problems there!!! ๐Ÿ™‚ You just have to avoid drinking it due to gastrointestinal infection. Have fun! ๐Ÿ™‚

Yeah, I’m gonna suggest you just go ahead and stay on the bed. Just in case.

@lovelylady46:  This Website is dedicated to Questions about getting married… for precise info about Thailand, I suggest that you perhaps considering posting on a website that is dedicated to Travel / Honeymoons… maybe check out something like TripAdvisor.com where you can talk one-on-one with Destination Experts and those that acutually live “in country”

FYI To all bees about sex in water (not just in thailand) Having sex in water (clean, dirty, clorinated, natural)  CAN cause vaginal infections but not always.

AS for will you get sick with the same symptoms as drinking it. Probably not

We went to Thailand for our honeymoon and are going back for our one year anniversary. I wouldn’t recommend sex in a shower/bath INCASE you accidently swallow some water. Stomachs get very sensitive in Thailand and can be upset easily. Depending on where you stay, the water (even showering water) can have a smell so you will want to turn shower on, keep mouth shut, clean quickly and get out.

Sex in water can cause problems regardless. With the extra risk of water in a country like Thailand, don’t risk it. It’s not worth it.

We had sex in both the bath and our private swimming pool on honeymoon in Thailand. No infections so far and the first instance was two weeks ago (the last being a week ago).

Any honeymoon hotel that has a bath big enough for sex in Thailand will probably have decent filtration (although I still wouldn’t drink it)!
