This is my first cycle TTC, and I have only been properly charting for one previous cycle, so I wasn’t 100% sure of the timing of everything. I also have PCOS so my cycles are unpredictable, but I’ve lost weight so they’re becoming shorter.
Anyway, because my cycle was shorter than last, I recognised that I was getting ready to ovulate and it was earlier than expected. We’re using a known sperm donor (so, no sex as per the title, but I thought that would get me more input than wirting “insemination” lol) and because the timing wasn’t what we were expecting, he was only available to donate once, which was yesterday afternoon.
Well, this morning I got a positive OPK! I was wondering how much of a chance I have to get pregnant with that timing, and only one insemination? Sorry, I can’t bring myself to use the acronym “BD” lol. Our donor is 22 and very healthy, so I hope his swimmers can survive the wait.
Thanks in advance!
