It depends on how small you are and if you’ve got family members with heart problems in the audience! I would actually love this dress since I’m flat chested and skinny, but I would alter the neckline! I’d also like to shorten the sleeves, I love the look of a lacy elbow- or mid bicep- length bolero.

Lovely dress but too sexy for the day

dress is beautiful but I think the neckline is wayyyyyy too low – if you could put some sort of panel in there I think it would be preferable.

Are you sure this is a wedding gown though and not lingerie?

Even on the real bride, I don’t think it is atractive. Basic rule of thumb- If you have to use double-sided tape to prevent a wardrobe malfunction , and your boobs are still half visible in your dress, you are showing too much decolletage for a wedding dress.

It is beautiful, but not something to be worn as a wedding dress!

@sierratakeloon:  I think the word you’re looking for is ‘demure’ and I would say that the dress is too sexy for my tastes. I think it’s more the type of thing I’d associate with a Vegas wedding than anything else and not what I would consider appropriate for a more traditional wedding. F you want to look demure and classy on your wedding day then this is not the dress for you.

If you want a sexy dress, you can always have a really low back wedding dress or with laces. I would never wear a dress like that on my wedding day. It is too revealing and inappropriate.

I think it’s gorgeous and if you carry it well, by all means, do! In terms of the neckline, there have been a few episodes on say yes to the dress ny where the designers/sales peops/seamstress put a beautiful complementary piece of lace or tulle or even satin if you really want to mix up the textures (which I love) to raise a plunging neckline a bit.  If done well, you’d never know it wasn’t part of the dress’ original design.

this gown has long sleeves and maybe even a higher back than a lot of the strapless bridal dresses out there, so to me, it covers even more than most! All I know is if a bride walked down the aisle and wore that dress like it was made for her… I would gasp in shock and awe at the beauty of it all…. oh, and can you imagine this with a simple veil to the floor, a la Jackie back in the day?!

Oh… just saw the low back.  o’well…. still love the dress… with a long to-the-floor veil (that oughta take care of the back for the ceremony)!
