I haven’t used it but from what I’ve read it’s a bunch of bunk.  What muscles are you looking to tone?  There are a lot you can do with your arms with light weights or your body weight.

I have really big, flappy arms normally.  I used one prior to our wedding and it helped to tone up my arms!  A DVD comes with the shake weight and it shows you different ways to use it.  I used it during commercials while watching tv and it seriously helped.  Good Luck!

I can’t take it seriously. The commercials just look too much like the guy is jacking off.

@EffieTrinket: lol I was just about to come here and post that I’m too immature to try one.

My husband tried to put one on the registry at BBB though, because he is equally as immature haha.

If you are looking to tone up your arms using canned soups or veggies as weights works nicely for people who don’t normally lift weights. I know it sounds silly, but I know some people who used to do that. You could also make your own weights out of beans and other objects in your own home.

Here’s a link to a few different options. It even talks about the veggie cans:

@Mrs. Guinness This makes me think that those weights should come in a “His and Hers” pack together.
