- Wedding: October 2015 - Ruby Princess
I finally went from a round/halo to my dream classic emerald cut. It’s eng622-FB from moco. I am over the friggin moon about it. the band is from an estate jeweler on etsy. It has engraving in it from 1957. I think that’s so cool that it has a backstory. I wish I knew what it was.

I love my ring because it is my early 10 yr anniversary ring and it is a symbol of the love and effort we put into each other . Plus it is really sparkly and basically my Holy grail ring and the thought that he put into it just amazes me that he really does ,is ten with I ramble on and shove random pics in his face ha ha

Here’s my new one & I’m in love (even tho I wasn’t at first lol) My hubby saw a pic of this ring in my iPad & decided to surprise me with it (not knowing that I had decided against it I just never deleted the pic) He said he saw me eyeing solitaires & when he saw the pics of that one he went back to Kay’s & got it for me 😊 He’s so sweet…so now the thought of him dong something that awesome for me has made me have a new found love for this ring! I haven’t taken it off since I got it & I smile every time I look at it. I love it more now than my 1 cttw quad I picked for myself lol,..it’s amazing how strong the power of love is 😍😍

lizzysoontobemurphy : I’m going to be honest, I really like my ring, but I don’t think I love it. I have always wanted a solitaire pear or marquise with maybe a pave band. Our engagement story is really cool and involves him winning a beautiful 1 carat loose diamond at a gala. It happened to be a round diamond and it would have been super rude (and probably not feasible) to ask for a different cut. I ended up picking the setting I felt went best with the diamond – for me it was hard because I really dislike round cuts on myself. Don’t get me wrong, I still like the ring, it’s just not what I would have picked out.
