@Extension54:  Thanks for sharing! I am so very impressed with people that so whole heartedly embrace and share their faith. And his aplology seemed genuine… I hope there are more people that will learn from this.

@Extension54:  I just saw this on Facebook and can’t believe how it turned out. Maybe there is some hope for humanity after all! 😛

*stands and claps*

Despite being a woman who, I guess, has “caved to western beauty standards” (whatever), I still 100% appreciate that badass response of the girl in the pic…and the seemingly-sincere apology from the person who started it all.

To each his own, but if it were my BF who tried to make fun of her, I’d slap him square in the face.

Thanks for sharing this uplifting article.  The heartfelt apology from the person who originally posted the photo really give me hope that the world isn’t such a nasty place.

Super old article, but a great story. Good for the original poster for owning up to being a douche and apologizing.

I’ve seen this story awhile ago on Huffington post I believe. Classy lady, she really handled herself well. It must be liberating to not have to cave to societal pressures on what a woman should look like. I wish I could adapt that way of thinking but I need my regular waxing routine.

Wow, an apology on the internet, never thought I’d see the day. However, I disagree with what the author of the article wrote at the end about Reddit. Perhaps if you are surfing through strange /r/’s or something you may find weird stuff, but I find out more about what is going on around the world on Reddit than I do with any other form of media, perhaps besides Twitter.

Anyways, good for the girl!!!
