I recommend Vedette body shapers. They are not the most comfortable but they work!

I don’t think Spanx or related elastic type undergarments provide enough cinching and control. I’m going with a corset from Frederick’s of Hollywood. It flattens and smooths everything out and makes my waist look super tiny. I love the thing!! Plus, it’s not elastic, so it won’t stretch out.

I wore spanx under my dress and it did wonders!

@nc512:  Another bee raved about Rago shapewear. I think I’m going to check that out.

I wore a Body Wrap shaper to go try on dresses, it was like high waisted panties but it came all the way up under my bra at the front and back.

I bought Rago too! And without getting flamed (ahem) I’m a size 4 and it lifts and firms beautifully! With my shapewear on, you could bounce a quarter off my ass. Nay, a dollar bill!

@sunkissed19:  I saw the post and tried some on when I went shoppoing for a corset for under my dress- it rocks. I bought some for under my dress. Way more control than spanx, easier to get on and very pretty too.

I also purchased the Rago after reading the post here on Bee and I love it! I thought the size chart was very accurate. I bought mine on Amazon.

glad i found this – I was thinking I’d go spanx but maybe now i’ll check out the Rago.  I just want to make sure everything is nice and smooth, can’t have any bumps or lines on the big day 🙂
