Well, my dress arrived about a month ago and the only thing that is a bit snug is the tummy. It zips and everything, but I just don’t like that it looks sort of buldge-y. I’m hoping to lose an inch or two before the wedding in April and hopefully that will help, but if not, I’m thinking that shapewear may control the issue without having to get the dress let out at all.
I really only want something for the tummy, since my dress is not form fitting over the thighs. I’m thinking of something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Flexees-Instant-Slimmer-Control-Waistnipper/dp/B0007QMK6Y/ref=lh_ni_t. I think I would order it in “blush” color (my dress is ivory).
The main thing I’m worried about is that my dress is fairly thin, and I don’t want it to show through. Did any of you use something similar for your wedding and have feedback/recommendations?

That looks like it has the potential to roll. I would go with a corset or spanx like these:

Is your dress strapless? I have one of these in “Body Beige”, also from Flexees, and I love it. The straps prevent any rolling.

@Aure: Yes, my dress is strapless, so unfortunately that does rule out some options.
I did find yet another contender: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000QW6LE6/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER

@D0GL0VER: Hmm, did you read the reviews? This one says it’s not really feasible to wear tight fitting clothing with it.
What about getting a real steel boned corset?

@secondchances: I actually have one of the ones you posted. I dont remember the brand but I got it at Macys. It actually does a really good job..however, I am not sure about it showing through your material.
For a wedding dress I would probably stick with Spanx options. I have this one and it is amazing:

Thanks for the advice everything. I will try something in the Spanx line. Does anyone know where I may be able to find them in person versus online?

@D0GL0VER: I know Lord and Taylor cares them if they have that chain by you
