hungrymeow :  It is 🙂 It’s all white gold. It’s gotta be from the flowers in the background.

jade31 :  Stunning emerald cut!!! If you don’t mind me asking, what is its carat weight? It’s absolutely stunning!

frenchiebeeinamerica :  Thanks! It’s actually a moissanite from Ring Come True (in Toronto). It’s a 2.4ct equivalent, I love it so much! I highly recommend Ring Come True, Shir is so helpful, if you’re in the US, it’s extra affordable 😉

jade31 :  Well, very good choice on this Moissanite! I would have never guessed it was one! I did however, ball park it into the 2.00 carat range. I started looking at emerald cut diamonds of the same carat weight after seeing your ring and even emailed my husband to let him know that down the road, I wouldn’t be opposed to it hahaha! Of course he said he’d gladly give it to me, but not right now lol!

In any case, your ring is stunning!!! Nothing compares to an emerald cut and for one to be truly beautiful, clarity and color play a big part. In your case, your Moissanite does an amazing job!!

frenchiebeeinamerica :  thank you! I’m in the midst of picking out a wedding band, I think with the wedding costs, I’ll stick to a plain band, I told my fiance he can upgrade me for an anniversary 😉

jade31 :  I completely understand! And honestly, your ring is such a classic, beautiful piece that even with a plain band, it’s gonna look gorgeous. In a way, it’ll allow for more focus on it. It’s not a bad thing at all. But if you want something in the same prince range but with a little more going on, why not get a band that has engravings on it? If you’re into vintage looking rings, it could definitely add something to your set.
