This is a great idea!!  Love it.  Especially since I’m getting stressed out abotu the TTC yet I still come on to these boards regularly.

We haven’t told anyone we are trying to TTC so it’s fun to have our own little secret.  Also Darling Husband and I decided to have our own version of “march madness” and did the BD every other night for the entire month.  Because we both have demanding jobs and different schedules, usually gettin busy is saved for the weekends and one night during the week.  I thought it would be a chore, but we’ve actually had a ton of fun and really enjoyed it, so that was a pleasant surprise.  I found I was looking forward to it even on an inbetween day.  Though I have to admit, I am getting EXHAUSTED πŸ™‚

@lotam240: That’s awesome!  We can be really good for a week or two, then we need time off!  We have done it way more in the last 6 months than before.  But if we do it too often it it less fun.  We’re trying to keep in “seeming” spontaneous.

Good stuff?  Uh…not a whole lot has happened since the school year started…but everything is going well, definitely nothing bad.  TTC has actually made us closer I think.   : )

i’m not currently ttc, but i thought i would add to the happy memories πŸ™‚ a little background first – my husband loves cuban dress shirts, like this:http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/413ewIvgU6L._SL250_.jpg. he wears them casually sometimes but also wore a cream colored one for our wedding, under a very cool vintage suit jacket (he has great style πŸ™‚ when we were ttc, i visited my oldest and dearest friend in california. we were out vintage shopping and i came across a BABY SIZED cuban dress shirt in baby blue. omg, i almost melted from the cuteness! i had to buy it (especially since it was only like $4) even though I clearly have no idea if we will ever have a son. Being able to plan ahead like that, and having all the endless possibilities still ahead of you, is so fun and exciting!

@lotam240:my Darling Husband and I have been doing that for the past 6 months (but i’ve only had 3 actual cycles since then). It’s really tiring since he doesn’t get home till 11pm and has a couple hours of homework…and no luck.

This thread is exactly what I needed today! I just found out that a girl that got married a month after me has been trying for 9+ months and no luck… just got pregnant and I’ve been ttc since Oct.  She gave me hope, but I’m still jealous:(

Well, a good thing that has happened to me is that my cycles are getting shorter thanks to a herbal supplement. It went from being 80+ days to 48 days after a month. That also gives me hope, but I’m so impatient.

@Jewish bride – I have long cycles too which is making TTC more frustrating…I hope we both get BFPs soon so we can get a rest πŸ™‚  But in the spirit of being positive (re: the board title), we’ll enjoy it while it lasts!

@lotam240:Exactly! I just tell myself that if we had a baby right now we wouldn’t be able to see movies, go out to eat, or see late night comedians with our friends. Or when the power goes out we wouldn’t be able to just relax and eat dinner and talk by candle light. I’ll also enjoy not feeling sick or being in any pain while I can;)

I made Eggs Benedict for breakfast yesterday. And over-easy eggs today, with an extra large cup of coffee. For lunch I had a turkey sandwich with sliced brie and a glass of wine.
