Sophie Conran for Portmeirion

Ginkgo Lafayette. We loved this one because it has a hammered look (kind of hard to see in the pic).

@MrsAu: I love the look and quality of that set. We just need a couple more pieces and it will be complete!

Oooh, I’ll play!

Flatware (it’s hard to tell in this photo, but the handles all have the look of beaten metal.  They’re fantastic):

Stemware:

Our china is a bit harder to describe.  Rather than buying a set from a store, Fiance and I have decided that in the future, we will have a collection of art pottery that we use at home.  We don’t have a single piece that matches another, and almost every single one is by a different artist.  I’ll just post a few of my favorite pieces that we’ve registered for:

We haven’t chosen anything yet, but looking forward to registering for flatware, since our current set is missing lots of pieces!

We currently own 2 complete sets of Corelle dishes, so it’s unlikely we’ll register for any more. Corelle is amazing, though, I definitely recommend it to anyone trying to put together their registry! These are ours:

@All In: I love those!

@nicolethegrrr8:  I just realized we have the same flatware.  Isn’t it amazing?  I love the hammered look.

@GreenEyedMoon: Thanks! That’s exactly why we picked it. It also had a good feel to it when we picked it up – not too heavy and not too fragile. We got a more intricate crystal for our fancy stemware, but I’m still not sure when we will actually use it haha

Me too!

Our everyday set, which I bought for my Fiance when he got his new place knowing it would eventually be mine. 🙂  He wanted black plates.  It is not 1985!!

Everyday from CB2:

China we registered for Ralph Lauren’s Satin Ribbon:And no flatware!  We have a new Oneida set that does the job, plus my mom is giving us one of her sets of real silverware. 🙂
