Can I ask you to share your / bm’s bouquet pictures if you are using (or already used ) silk flowers? I really don’t have budget to buy fresh flowers from local florist.
I thought about order fresh ones from costco or sam’s club but I’m so nervous that I will not get them in time or the fact that I need to worry about them few days before the wedding.
So, I’m thinking about buying silk flowers (Lilies for my bm’s bouquets and white, pink-ish roses for mine). I’d love it if I can see some “Actual” pictures of the silk flowers from you guys!

I made my bouquets from silks. I did it because of budget costs and because I have a lot of free time and also am a control freak and wanted to make sure it was done exactly like I wanted it. 🙂

This is my bouquet, we haven’t made the BM’s yet because we haven’t picked out dresses.

Wow..I love both of these! I’ve been considering this because we’re doing all of our own flowers (using a huge hydrangea bush from my parents’ property) and I’d love it if my bouquets would be finished before the big day – it’s the last thing I want to have to worry about! Any suggestions on where to get good ones for a good price??

I recommend Hobby Lobby, but we don’t have those in CA. I did my entire bouquet for $50. There is also sav-on-crafts.com, which has a lot of real touch flowers and even dried flowers you can use. I did not like Michael’s selection I think you’re better off going online, or if you know someone with a Hobby Lobby nearby recruit them! They have like 9 aisles of fake flowers

LOVE your bouquets, where did you buy the silk flowers from? The gems add a nice sparkle!

The second bouquet I ended up changing because I decided I wanted to do something else for the bridesmaids. I bought all of my flowers from Michaels when they have the 50% off on floral. They make either bouquet jewelry that you can find in the wedding section for the gems, or you can do like I did and just buy some of the sticker rhinestones and hot glue them. Much cheaper!!

Michael’s half off silk flower sale starts tomorrow (it does here at least) I just went into my first Hobby Lobby when I was out of town for Christmas and it was FANTASTIC. There were TONS of flowers so I second the suggestion to recruit someone for that store or you can buy online. I am considering buying online as I live in California which is unfortunately Hobby Lobby free. I think there is one now but it is something like 3 hours away and I just can’t justify that drive yet!
I too plan on doing silk flowers because of cost and I am also am a full on control freak. I try not to take it into Bridezilla territory though 🙂

Did you find that Hobby Lobby’s flowers were better than Michaels?

I don’t know about better, they just have a TON more options at Hobby Lobby. If you can find what you want at Micheals I say go for that for the convenience factor. If I remember correctly, the brands of the flowers were the same, or similar at least.

This isn’t mine but was my sisters! The flowers were from a lot of different craft stores. I have also heard good thing about afloral.com

These are so pretty. I really want to do fake flower bouquets because I think it would take a lot of stress off of me but everyone keeps telling me that its an awful idea. These just look soo good!
