Luckily, DH and I are for the most part on the same page when it comes to temperature in the house…I had this problem with my 2 roommates I used to live with, except I was always hot.
Anyway, the one thing I have to say is people who are cold can always get warmer..you can put on warmer pajamas and blankets. For people who get hot, you are basically screwed and then left dripping wet…not fun at all. For some reason when I sleep my body runs very hot, to the point where I sometimes have to switch my clothes…so I have to say I’m always on the side of the warmer person in these scenarios. DH has witnessed this and knows if it gets too cold he can always get a blanket. We also both like the idea of being under covers if we are freezing, more snuggling too 🙂
I gotta agree with other PP as well, 75 isn’t cold at all lol you would hate being in our house, we live in Jersey and its currently 65 in the house, glorious! lol

After I got off work yesterday, I came home to find the heater was on. I asked him why the heat was on and he said that although he was hot as heck the night of my ranting, when he woke up in the morning he said he was freezing so he turned on the heat. I apologized for being super-bitchy the previous night, and he said it was okay, and that he was so tired that he just kinda let it roll off his back.
I told him about the dual temperature control heated mattress pad, and he said he had one before and he really didn’t think it would work for us because he said he could always feel the heat from the other side when it was on.
So I have decided that I really do need to just suck it up and choose my battles. I was perfectly content once I had the comforter, so for now I think I will just continue to sleep with my comforter while he sleeps under his thin little throw blanket 🙂

Thank you! He thinks 20’C is too hot and will fight tooth and nail. I wear a down filled vest for probably 8 months of the year.

@GonnaBeMrsB: Why not just sleep with separate blankets?
My SO and I like the same type of blanket, but I’m a light sleeper and we each have our own blanket. It works great. I can also bundle up if ai am little chillier than him.
He likes to sleep cold, you can fix this by having a thicker comforter for yourself. In the morning, when you make the bed, just layer all the blankets on the bed. Get ones that match or use matching duvet covers for each. Problem solved.
