So I was thinking of making my favorite roast tomorrow (I will post below bc it’s sooo good) but thought maybe I would try a bbq pulled pork or something of that sort, doesn’t have to be bbq instead so I can make yummy sandwiches. So if any of you have any recipes for the crock pot since that is how I will have to cook it since I will be working, I would appreciate it! Please share!!!
Best Roast Recipe Ever…. not joking!
1 – 4-5 lb chuck roast
1 dry packet of ranch dressing seasoing
1 dry packet of brown gravy dressing
1 dry packet of italian dressing
1/2 of water ( I use beer it comes out more tender)
Put it in your crock pot on low for 9 hours, when it is done it falls apart! This has become our favorite meal…it’s soo good!

My mom makes the best crockpot pulled pork!!!
I don’t know the exact amounts of ingrediants she uses, because she just adds things to taste. Nothing precise.
Just put the pork roast on to cook in the morning before you go to work. When you get home, pull the meat apart with a knife and fork (but leave it in the pot). Add a bit of white vinegar. I’d say, maybe three tablespoons. You could add more or less (or none at all). I’m not so crazy about extremely vinegar-y pulled pork, but a little bit does give a nice flavor. Then, add your favorite barbecue sauce and mix it all up thoroughly. The amount and flavor of barbecue sauce is also entirely up to you. I tend to like honey barbecue sauce, but Fiance likes the smoked flavor. So, sometimes we mix both. I know that some people really enjoy a super saucy barbecue, while others prefer to go light on the sauce. So, just do what you guys prefer. After you’ve added sauce and vinegar, let it warm in the crockpot for about fifteen minutes, or so. Then eat it!
Thanks, now I am dying for pulled pork sandwiches! Lol!
PS- Don’t forget the cole slaw!

@Natalieh86: I use the same recipe and it’s to die for! The only thing I change about the sauce is adding some more chipotle chili powder and about 1/4 cup of brown sugar.

I slowcook mine in a bottle of beer, a slice onion, a spoonful of crush garlic, worchestershire sauce and salt and pepper. Shred and add a bottle of BBQ sauce. Cook on low for another 30 mins or so to absorb the flavour.
This is also totally and completely amazing, for a Mexican feel:

@UpstateCait: @UpstateCait: Question, have either of you made it on low ? It says high for 6 hours, but I will be at work for 9 and I know my crock pot is capable of shutting off after the time, but I don’t know how to do it and not sure how it would be after sitting for a few hours off.
