Share your best tip on how you’re saving money on your wedding!
I saved a lot because I’m getting married in what is considered the “off season” but it’s only one week after the end of the high season. It has saved us $1500 on my venue, and $100 with my dj and $100 with my coordinator.
Another thing that I saved a lot on was my dress, or really I got a dress I wouldn’t have been able to afford otherwise. I went to a small boutique that was brand new in my area and I bought a new sample dress. I got 50% off for it being a sample and the store was having a 20% off grand opening sale.

Ebay and Craigslist have been my BFFs! I got my dress, BMs gifts, and wedding accessories from ebay. I found some vendors (limo, videography) from craigslist.

I got my dress from Goodwill online. They take the great looking ones and put em online like ebay. I paid $30 and have a wonderful dress! I didnt plan on this of course so dont sacrifice your dream but when i saw the dress i fell in love with it and it was a great deal! also we chose a caterer that is allowing us to supply our own drinks so we will save a lot on beer and wine. My family also owns a landscaping business so we are getting actual rose bushes for the alter that we will plant on the grounds afterwards…. thus a tax write off. A more common saving tip is some tux places allow you to get your Fiance a free rental if your groomsmen all rent there.

Live like a hermit? LOL
We saved by choosing a Sunday date, so had a decent discount there on our reception.. and lifestyle-wise we just cut down on unnecessary expenses like eating out all the time and buying too many dvds.
If you pack your own sandwiches from home instead of spending $10/day on lunch, that’s alot of saving right there!
