For my first wedding I chose Lennox Opal Essense.  I will not be registering for china again, but would love to complete that collection.  In the last few years, I’ve become a sucker for tableware.

We didn’t register for any since our apartment can’t accomodate it. I do have my eye on this once we buy a home. Chapel Hill by Kate Spade

@ktkoala:  Thanks! That’s part of why I like it so much – I’m a big fan of using fancy china for more than just official “special occasions.” My every day plates are Lenox Chirp, which I scored on super duper clearance at Marshall’s, and I think about how much I love them every time I set the table.

I love formal tableware. I registered and received almost all of my china. I registered for Nevaeh (heaven spelled backwards) by Fitz and Floyd. It is bone china and is sold open stock so you can mix and match. I also registered for Kate Spade Dandy Lane salad plates to add some pattern. I really liked the Dandy Lane pattern but it was pretty expensive at 142.99 a setting and it seemed a little more busy. I registered for Dandy Lane accessories as well. My flatware is Vintage Jewel by Lenox.

Okay, I’ve been wanting to do this for a while because I love my place settings and I’m finally getting around to it.

Noritake Platinum Wave Fine China is what we picked. It is not super traditional but both Fiance and I loved it (I was surprised he actually cared!) so I figured it was perfect!

I have been collecting portmeirion china for a while now (love the village in England in which they are made, and love the botanic design!!). We plan to keep this china for everyday use as we do now, and we have added the Dentelle by Waterford for fine china! I wanted something simple and elegant and that could be matched to many seasons. For stemware we are going with the Riedel tasting sets (we are major wine aficionados). And for silverware, I was given a set of full silver on my 18th birthday so we’ll use that.

I picked Villeroy and Boch New Wave Platinum – I really like a modern look and the plates/accessories that go with this set are stunning!  I registered for 16 and have received 6 after my engagement party – hopefully we will get the rest soon!
