Here is my Divina!! My wedding is in Santa Rosa Beach FL but our venue is not on the beach. I loved this dress from the second I saw it in a magazine. I cannot wait to wear it!!! My destination wedding did not play a factor in the dress I picked.

I am getting married on a beach in Hawaii and will be wearing a kind of modified ball gown. I did not want the typical light and flowy dress. I think you should wear whatever makes you feel beautiful.

Lovely gowns!

I’m having a tropical wedding in Punto Cana so I’m wearing a gown with color on the beach.

Ooh I wanna play. So my dress is being custom made. The lace and neckline and bodice is going to look like this one, Maggie Sottero’s Charisse.

But the silhouette is going to be more like this one. (This isn’t me in this one, I stole it from another bee. I hope she won’t mind. It’s Legends by Ramona Kaveza).

AdriannaJeanOMG, your dress is gorgeous. I actually always want to change the necklace of the Casablanca and wearing the belt EXACTLY LIKES YOURS. I think I will save your pic in my folder for the seemstress to make a copy πŸ™‚ . Would you mind to share where you got the belt from? And If you know the designer? Thanks Smile

@zoecn:  Unfortunately I don’t πŸ™ My consultant just brought it out because I don’t want ANY beading on my dress but the belt Charisse comes with is quite beaded. I never got details about the belt. But I do have a close-up of the belt for you to show your seamstress πŸ™‚

@SupermansSweetheart:  I am so jealous it fit you! I went into dress shopping being all “Clarice is going to be my dress” and it was the first one I tried on, and flop…

The knot just didn’t sit on the right part of my body and it all looked wrong and weird. My torso was just too short for her. Do you have any pics of you in her so I can drool and dream wistfully about having a longer torso?

This was mine in 35 degree celsius weather!

Was I sorry? Well, A BIT in the evening and when the photo taking session included a stint by a bonfire haha but other than that, felt very happy that I could wear lace:)

We eloped to Greece & I wore a lace mermaid gown. It was stupidly hot on an all white terrace, about 36*C. We were busting out sweat, but would have been hot in a swimsuit πŸ™‚ I loved my dress & it was totally worth it!
