Dress I first chose….and purchased!  I ended up selling it and bought a new one.

Sorry so small, another dress I almost bought, Mori Lee, I loved it.

And the one I bought 2 months before the big day and glad I made that decision! Sabelle replica!

Really enjoying this thread! Love everyone’s pics. 🙂

Here’s the ones I was able to take pictures of that I didn’t end up going with. Most were out of my budget!

Sorry, I don’t remember any of the designers. (Tried these on a few months ago. But the bridal shop that let us take photos had a fairly limited selection of designers, so if you’re interested in one, PM me and I’ll forward their website on to you.) Trying on dresses was so much fun! 🙂

Love this thread!!!!

This was my “almost” dress… Maggie Sotterro Pia. But then my Alfred Angelo blew it out of the water in terms of what it did for my shape!!

***And now that I look at it, I HATE the angled layers. Boooo!

I tried on a ton of dresses… but wasn’t allowed to take pictures everywhere.  Here are just a few of my rejects.  Tongue out

Everyone’s rejects are so stunning, your actual dresses must be amazing! Most of the dresses you’ve all turned down are about 10x more lovely than what the bride actually wore at most of the weddings I’ve been to!

Here are mine – they’re all Maggies, because that was the only shop that allowed pictures!

Oh Fun! My only serious contender was La Sposa Frutal, the other two are La Sposa and Demetrios (you can see my yawning in the pic haha)

@zippylef, Did we both try on Frutal? I love finding brides that tried on the same dresses I did.

@LGenz- Yep! I liked it, but my family hated it. In the end, it wasn’t very flattering on me.

My mom loved it and campaigned for it until the end, my grandmother hated it. She thought it was too old fashioned.

Love this post!  I actually owned the first TWO, tried on the others, and ended up with a totally different dress.  LOL
