I only tried on two dresses so I only have one reject!

Edit: WOW. Huge picture. Sorry ladies, how do I resize again?

This is fun! I love wedding dresses. Here are my rejects. The lace one would have been like an incinerator at my July wedding and the Paloma Blanca was gorgeous (loved those buttons down the back!) but in the end I wanted a ball gown.

This is so much fun!  Since my dress was the second I tried on at David’s Bridal, I ended up not exploring other stores (now I regret it, of course), so here are my DB’s rejects (ignore the tired face, unwashed hair!).

This was the first wedding dress I’ve EVER tried on, so I was all emotional about it, BUT it didn’t do anything for my body, it actually makes my boobs look ginormous:

I loved what this one did to my figure in the front and back of the dress, as it was the correct size (the one above was bigger, and so was the one I ended up buying, since it was the last one they had), but, on the second picture you can see how from the side, my body doesn’t look as good.  I have no butt or boobs on it and no defined waist!  It just looked weird…

This was not the type of dress I was going for, but it made me look tiny at the waist, but though on this side it looks good, on the other side, all the folds just looked weird, they were not done right, I think, so it didn’t lay smooth.

I thought I really loved this one because it was so fun and different but then I found “my dress” later that day.

@phatenigma…your first reject is my dress!  i was so excited to see a different pic of it. (mine will be strapless with a white sash).  all the dresses you tried on look beautiful on you so you must’ve had a hard time deciding!

Is it me, or a lot of these reject dresses look GORGEOUS?  We should have a post with the rejected next to the chosen one, because some girls look spectacular!

@marlie  I think the ML fit me the best but unfortunately it didn’t go with our wedding theme.  I didn’t even think about changing it up a bit though.  I bet it is going to be absolutely stunning as a strapless dress with a matching sash.  I thought the sample was more for a garden wedding but the way that you describe it I’m sure it is going to be gorgeous for a garden or formal wedding!  Do you have pictures posted anywhere?

This is my “reject” I actually put 50% down on the dress, and then months later changed my mind.

And a few more…

I still wonder if I should have gone with the last one.  i loved it, but just didn’t love the poofiness of the bottom skirt.
