the last one is fuzzy because I was making my friend laugh so hard at my description of the “cupcake dress.”
The first was actually a serious contender, the second I LOVED the obi style belt and flash of color but I ultimately decided on this –

Still ended up with a Maggie Sottero, just not one of these ones. There were more that I tried, but I only took a pic of a few. It was a hard choice! Top: Adelaide, Bottom: AD3300
In the end, though, I ended up with my lovely Vienna!

Your 2nd dress is at David’s Bridal I adored that dress until I found the one!!

@rachelreallylostbride: The David’s bridal dress ended up being my #2 in the final tally of my dress shopping. I liked the dress a lot, but I like the one I bought a whole lot more! 🙂

The first dress is Alfred Angelo 2034. I didn’t like the way it felt and pulled across my body.
The second dress is Maggie Sottero Madison. It was way too shiney and strange looking on me.
Maggie Sottero Vernice was a contender for a while, but it was a bit too plain.
Mikaella 1367 was great and I wish I could have gotten it but it was out of my price range. Stupid bridal girl for bringing it to me! I have the straps tucked in because I was going to convert it to strapless.
Mikaella 1513 was just for fun because it had pockets! It was way too puffy and made me feel awkward.

I went dress shopping with my mom AFTER i bought my dress (long story) and this one made my mom and I both cry. But it’s just not what I always pictured for my wedding, and EVERYONE in my area buys their dress from David’s, so I didnt want the thought that my guests would probably see other brides in my dress. Made it seem a little less special.

Not sure why that’s showing up sideways…

this was the first dress I tried on, and my sister and I both welled up because I felt like a ‘bride’ for the first time, like the whole wedding thing was real. Unfortunately as beautiful as the gown was, it was not ‘me’, and didn’t fit the style of my wedding.

I have lots of rejects, but these are the only ones on my computer!

@cupcakebride2011: I tried on that first one, I wanted to love it so bad LOL. It was a fail of mine as well.

I thought the 1st Maggie was going to be my dress. When looking for dresses online & in magazines, it was always the one I went back to & printed out, BUT when I actually tried it on, it did nothing for my body time. Quiet unflattering on me.
