i have decided to never live without this stuff again. My skin is prone to redness and this helps so much.

I love these things. My skin is very particular on the products I use. These wipes I use every night to take off my makeup, even run them over my eyes without issue.

Swizzle:  I’ve seen that in sephora and been curious about it. ABout 2 years ago i used a few different Fresh products but had to stop due to the soy that is in a lot of their products (made me break out on my jawline). But i don’t believe that one has soy in it. My right cheek has had red pigmentation for the past 1.5 years. I wonder if i should give this a try? Can you tell me what your skin was like prior and how it has helped? What is your skin type as well, if you don’t mind. thanks!

princessinwaiting:  Fun thread! I have a handful.

-Dr. Brant retinol….although i don’t use it much anymore because my right cheek has been getting red. but before that, this stuff was a game changer!! resurfaces skin and takes away dead skin cells on surface.

-Dr. dennis gross- Alpha beta peel- MIRACLE WORKERRRR

-Philosphy- Hope in a Jar moisturizer. I had=ve dry skin and this is perfect for me. Gorgeous whipped consistency and is my fav of the moisturizers ive tried.

-Mountain Rose Herbs- they’re high quality Jojoba Oil (it’s the oil that closest to our natural sebum oil and doesn’t clog pores)

-MyChelle- ultra hydrating hylauronic serum

-Amore Pacific- Moisture bound Sleeping Recovery Mask. DH said to me the other day – wow you looks glowing! the morning after i used it 🙂

Clarins instant smooth perfecting touch — makes my pores disappear!

Glamglow supermud — makes my pores disappear even more!

Urban Decay setting spray (I also use Skindinavia’s which is a cheaper equivalent IMO) — makes my makeup look natural and stay all day.

What about my post repurchased items?

– Nars radiant creamy concealer or its drugstore equivalent the Maybelline Fit Me: they just melt into the skin and look natural

– Maybelline Dream Lumi touch highlighting concealer in the shade Radiant: brightens my undereye like a dream!

– MAC mineralize skinfinish natural – best powder foundation/setting powder ever. Bought so many of those! The finish is “like skin” and brings light and sheen to my face in a very natural way

– Anastasia Brow wiz: brows made easy

– Clinique High Impact mascara, or drugstore option Covergirl Lashblast Clump Crusher: no clumps, easy to use and very effective on my long lashes

– Urban Decay 24/7 glide-on pencils: so many colors, easy to apply, stay on all day

– Origins frothy face wash: best clean-face feeling, smells good, removes all makeup

– Kat Von D tattoo liner in Trooper: very easy to use and bulletproof!

– Nars smudge-proof eyeshadow base: the only base that really works on my oily eyelids

– Bioderma micellar water: the BEST makeup remover ever in the whole world. Gentle, so effective and no residue!

– Glamglow supermud: instant pore shrinkage!

…. oh man that list could be so much longer!

Brow wiz eyebrow pencil by anastasia is the only high end make up I used regularly and it’s worth every penny. It lasts all day and looks so natural.

Other than that I’m obsessed with ELF. Great price and cruelty free.

Dr. Jart Water Fuse BB cream. Effortless, even, dewy skin (and I have dry skin).

Fresh lip balm. Gives color like a lipstick, but so buttery!

Nars Orgasm blush!

SweetBeets:  i have rosacea prone skin. I would get red lil bumpy skin all around my nose and mouth and all the drug store moisturizer in the world wouldn’t help it. I started using this stuff and then using moisturizer over top and like magic, the redness has resolved itself. this is after like 5 years of suffering with it and having multiple doctors prescribe steroid creams.  I believe my body is just very sensitive to hydration. When i would go out drinking my skin would be so angry and red the next day. When i run out of this stuff and forget to buy more, within a few weeks i see the red start to show again and i quickly get my bottle. 100% i love this stuff.

SweetBeets:  I hope you like it! They have smaller sample sizes to try. I got one as a sample with an order 2 years ago and never looked back.

Diorshow mascara (it’s pricey but works amazingly well and smells like rosewater)

Shu Umura eyelash curlers are worth their weight in gold – super gentle on lashes and they pack a serious curl punch! I do the double curl, i.e. Curl like normal (hand near your cheek) then flip the curler basically upside-down (hand above your eye/forehead) and curl again and I constantly get compliments about how large my eyes look

L’oreal Triple Resist shampoo and conditioner – it’s incredible. My Fiance has amazing hair and within 2 weeks of using this stuff (it was in the shower and I was too lazy to get out to get my Aveda shampoos/conditioner) my hair felt smoother and stronger. It smells good without being overpowering and it’s literally the only hair product that I’ve ever used that actually made me feel like my hair was noticeably shinier and healthier (as opposed to just being cleaner or smelling good). Maybe I’m imagining it, but I also feel like my scalp is healthier because my hair seems to be growing really fast – but tbh, my hair has always grown pretty quickly, so maybe that’s just in my head 😉

I still really like the way Aveda Rosemary-mint shampoo smells though

Also, Coochie cream shave lotion is awesome and totally worth it. It’s so nourishing you can use it on your skin and/or hair and it’s free from all sorts of bad stuff: no soap suds, animal testing, fragrance (on the original one), etc.
