I will confess I told Darling Husband to be sure and make it a long kiss not just a peck! So worried the photographers would have a hard time getting a good one, but this pic made me so happy!

Aw I love all these pics! 😍 I’m kind of jealous of how nice they came out!

No matter how hard I try, I always look super awkward in kissing pictures, so I wasn’t crazy about our first kiss picture (not the photographer’s fault! All me! Lol)

So instead, I will cheat and post the only kissing pic of the day that came out okay (though I wish my ring was less twisted on my finger for it!) Makes me laugh!

We were just so excited to be officially married, and since we didn’t see each other before the ceremony, this was our very first kiss of the day! ☺️ We rushed into it a bit so my husband never got his hand past my arm lol, wish he was holding my waist instead, but oh well, I still think it’s a lovely picture! 🀷🏻‍♀️

hockeybee0104 : I was extremely sick the day of our wedding, had lost my voice, and just wasn’t feeling super well… on top of that, things were running behind schedule and we didn’t have much time to take couple photos (still makes me sad we don’t have more non-candid photos of just us – we’re thinking of doing an anniversary shoot in our wedding attire next year for our second anniversary). So, long story short, I wanted a nice photo of us kissing and this was the only one we had so I also edited our officiant out of the photo in photoshop. I know another bee offered, but feel free to let me know if you need help doing the same! 😊

Our ceremony was meant to be out on the deck overlooking the lake, but it ended up being an INSANELY windy day, so we had to move inside at the last minute – my brother called me and was like “Ummm… we need to move inside now, the chairs are blowing in to the lake.” LOL (we did choose our venue because it had the option to go inside if needed. So where our ceremony ended up being wasn’t the best for our photos, due to the light coming through the windows either side of us, and the TV screen above our heads haha. But hey, you gotta just go with the flow… at the end of the day, we were married and it was a lovely day πŸ™‚

I like this kissing photo much better πŸ˜€ Even though you can see how badly the wind stuffed up my hair the second I went outside LOL… it was literally gale force winds haha. It was raining too, but we quickly nabbed the opportunity to get outside in ‘golden hour’ for some photos before the rain became torrential again.
