@bzybee15:  The first quote I received from a florist was around $1900 for bridal bouquet, 3 bridesmaid bouquets, boutonnieres, 15 centerpieces with vases I will be providing myself. From the brides I’ve asked, the standard seems to be 2K to 3K.

The alternative was to order bulk flowers from a wholesaler and do the flowers myself for around $900. However, I don’t know where I’ll store them before the wedding day.

A very helpful bee told me that she is using WholeFoods for her wedding flowers and they are going to cost around $900. I’m looking into this option.

I paid $70.00 for these-direct from the farm.  There were enough for eight tables, an arbor, and 5 bouquets and thensome! My aunt graciously made the the bouquets for my daughter and her BMs.

We used all garden roses (except for 2 arrangements of gladiolas) in different shades of pink.  Total cost: $1600 included 20 centerpieces, 1 bridal bouquet, 4 bridesmaids bouquet, 7 boutineers, 3 wrist corsages, 2 huge gladiola arrangements, and delivery on wedding day.

2k.  We had two attendants each plus 3 ushers and 81 guests. There wasminimal decoration for the ceremony. Most of the money went towards the centerpieces for our royal tables, about $150 per 8 ft table.

Its going to be about $4500 plus tax. That includes 20 tables for dinner, cocktail hour decorations, bouquets, boutineers, flowers for the guest book and enterance tables, etc….Its expensive but I knew I couldn’t do a DYI and have it look remotly decent!

I’ve been experimenting with DIY flowers and love them. I’ve been giving them as gifts like they were hotcakes or something because everyone wants some so now I’m wondering if they will be overdone by the time the wedding comes lol.

But there are tons of different flowers to make and tons of different fabric to use for the flowers, and I love the way they look not to mention the money they save. I’ve made about 6 boquets, each only costing about 7$ and I’ll be making the rest of the flowers as well, I’ve already began making flowers for the hair pieces, center pieces etc… Real money saver and lots of fun 🙂

@mdinh815:  YES!  Only $70.00  – Swan Island Dahlias.

No bouts/corsages, but even as MOB, I didn’t miss them.

We paid $400 for 4 Bridesmaid or Best Man bouquets, my bouquet, 4 Groomsmen bouts, aisle decor and 10 tables.  Of course, it was all DIY.  We also did not use any real flowers.  Only cotton bolls, pods, wood flowers and dried flowers.  It turned out better than I even imagined.
