My fiance and I also love games! (We also have a weekly board game nigh.) In the morning before the wedding, we’re having lawn games like cornhole, volleyboll, badminton, beer pong, etc. During the reception, we’ll be creating a casual scavenger hunt/trivia type game with fun facts about the guests to get those who don’t know one another interacting.

My Fiance and I loved the pitch perfect movies so we had a local a capella group from a university perform. It was such a hit!! We also did a flip cup tourney with different groups of people (groomsmen vs bridesmaids, parents vs parents). It got super competitive and everyone had a blast.

I am loving all of these quirky and personalized wedding details! Keep ’em coming!
….I may or may not have just ordered one. And I may or may not be as excited as a child who knows they’re going to Toys R Us to pick out a toy. At least this way, if they aren’t as awesome as advertised, we can be bitter about it together! lol!
Ah! That is amazing looking 🙂
I am incredibly jealous. Now to convince my Mother-In-Law to open an ice cream parlor…

The best part was that I asked the artist to portray me as younger and more slender. He must have shaved off 20 years and 20 pounds. Worth every penny I paid. LOL!

I guess it’s not that quirky anymore because it’s becoming more popular, but we’re having TimBits on tiered stands instead of a traditional wedding cake. I think it’s going to be really cute, and it’s definitely cost effective, which is great since there will already be lots of desserts with our catering.

Be still my heart. TimBits and Iced Capps for everyone! Honestly.

Haha at least someone likes it! Telling my dad about our TimBits cake was a confusing time for him.

wow. What a great idea. Where did you even start to look for someone to do that, or was it something advertised?

The venue/hotel had a list of preferred vendors and two were women who did live, event painting. I contacted one and she was booked for the night, but referred me to the man we ended up hiring. The other woman charged twice as much, as the artist we booked, because she required a minimum canvas size, that was a lot larger, and we didn’t want anything that large.
We used http://www.capturedoncanvas.us/home.html He traveled a few hours, to work for us. You can probably search for “live event artist,” in your area.

he is amazing! Now I want one soooo bad!!! I requested a quote for the hell of it 🙂 We are about 6 hours away, so maybe he can travel… And quote in my price range! Thank You!!
