4.76 carat blue sapphire inherited from my Mother-In-Law. I had it taken out of the 3 stone and put in an antique style 3 stone with .66tcw pears.

It’s amazing to see the transformations and how trends and tastes change over the years. Mine was totally 80s with the wave and heavy heavy gold, I actually recycled the gold and had it “cleaned” and ended up getting a smaller volume 18k from the original 14k.

Also interesting to see that people turn mid to late 20th century rings into art deco and more antique styles. I wonder if some decades from now people will be remaking our rings into those styles we are getting away from.

@noseynat:  thank you! The stone was also very dirty and was sitting in a vault for almost two decades before I got it and once I had it taken out and deep cleaned I could not believe my eyes how sparkly it was.
