Imagine if you could wear ANY dress (Original question I know) what would it be? I’m mostly looking for those dresses that we know we can’t wear, but they just stick with you. The negative outweigh the positive but you still just find them stunning. Sigh

These are mine
Marchesa Shell Bodice Dress: I never thought that I would like something like this, but I fell in love the moment I saw it. Unfortunatly I don’t think all the embelishment (the thing I love so much) would look right with the fact that most of my back is covered in a tattoo piece. They would probably end up clashing : /
Ramona Keveza Black Gown: I would love to wear black and especially this beauty!!! However SO says that black is for funerals and it would look weird at a wedding. I understand that that is the overwhelming opinion on this, but we are pretty offbeat and the black just looks so chic to me. Also never would think of a one shoulder dress but this one makes it just look stunning!

This is my dream dress – but I just cant justify the price tag for one day (when the $ could knock a year off my mortgage).

For so many reasons. I don’t even like satin, but that dress is just WOW to me. I love the beading and the big ball gown. It also retails for about $17,000, which is an atrocious amount of money to spend on a dress.

I cannot stand ballgowns personally, but this one really made me question my distaste

Anything Claire Pettibone…sigh…alas, way over budget, doesn’t fit my average body type, I’m too short, AND I think everyone would think it wasn’t bridal enough…I STILL love everything about her designs though! 🙂

I was obsessed with a Pnina dress that was covered in crystals and silver. Other than the fact the dress was well over 20 grand… I had a beach wedding. I can’t imagine that would work on a hot August day.

Lovely dresses ladies, has anyone shown their dream dress to someone and had them react negativly/positivly?

For me, it’s Pnina, Pnina, Pnina. The reason I would never be able to have any of them is the price tag. I can’t justify purchasing a dress to wear one time that costs more than my car.

- Wedding: April 2013 - A court...
Ah there’s one that I specifically thought of! I think it was only available at kleinfeld plus probably expensive, not sure if it’dworkfor my body type and kind of low cut. Can’t remember name of designer…. I’ll try to find picture of it.

- Wedding: September 2014 - Manhattan Church Rec Center
Mon Cheri 111223 – Annalisa
I saw this dress and said “This is the dress I want to marry Mr. Sapphire in.” But it is too old and I cannot find it anywhere. But if we would have gotten married in 2011 this would have been my dress.

I wish I had the $$$ for this dress.
I also loooooove Jenny Packham and Claire Pettibone but I know that they are too “out there” for many of guests. Plus they are also too much $$$$.

The pronovias pergola. Love the lace and that it’s very feminine. Way out of budget and probably wouldn’t have looked good on me anyway (at least that’s what I tell myself).
