Look for Tabata or HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) workouts. They take less than 30 minutes, can be done at home, and are very effective at keeping your metabolism boosted even after your workout.

Barbiestylez:  The one thing that always helps me is my alcohol intake.  It sucks because I love my nightly glass of wine, but it helps kind of give you that edge to get rid of those few extra pounds! Also, running and weight lifting has helped me a tone up a lot. I started running and strength training about 2 months ago and have noticed a difference in my thighs and stomach area.

Barbiestylez:  Definitely do some HIIT training, it is seriously a fat blaster. Look on pinterest or google HIIT workouts, or look on youtube. They’re hard but quick, and really awesome. 

Do you go to a gym? Sometimes gyms will get you personal trainers. Im less than 2 weeks away from wearing a bikini to my 30th birthday party in Vegas (we got a cabana and I want to look smokin’). I’ve been doing 60 minutes on the elliptical and a lot of thigh/abs toning. I’ve switched to a paleo diet, no carbs, and I’m taking hydroxycut non-caffeine stimulant. I’m seeing results!!!

Barbiestylez:  it’s definitely best to just eat at home/pack lunches for work at this point. My coworkers have been listening to me whine about my clean diet, but I just had a photoshoot for Trend Magazine last week for a fashion editorial, and eating healthy/HIIT training, and going to the gym daily for like 90 minutes a day really pushed me through my last little bit. It’s hard but it works.

PURE BARRE! Buy the month unlimited (its cheap for a new student) and go on a bender. Very high intensity isometric movements = results fast. And cardio seperately! 30-45 mins a day.

NO: bread, white rice, fried foods, processed/junk foods, added sugar, dairy.

Careful though, youll absolutely lose weight and tone doing the above for 5 weeks- make sure you have a last fitting and then just maintain!

Barbiestylez:  1st, I’ve see your pictures and you have an amazing body that I am totally jealous of! So I can’t imagine you looking terrible even if you don’t lose weight. 2nd, I LOVE Nature Box! Their snacks are so delicious and you get a shit ton of them in their bags.


I work out 6 days a week for 45 mins each session. I love the treadmill! I usually go the steepest incline at a slowe pace, like 3 or slightly below. I’ve lost at least 1lb a week doing that and using MyFitnessPal to monitor calories. I stay below 1500 with workouts each day. I also have been buying “popped” snacks. They make Quaker pop snacks, Kelloggs popped snacks, and Wheat Thins popped snacks which I love! I just portion them out so I only have the serving size. I also drink a TON of water. I’m talking about at least 12 cups fo water a day. This definitely helps curb my hunger. I recently discovered they make puffed Gold Fish which are delicous. I love the buffalo wing flavor!

Barbiestylez:  I do find swimming a pretty good workout on the upper arms, mine definitly look more toned swimming. Not sure if you have a pool available though.
