Oh I love the idea of a book theme! I can’t listen to the song at the moment as I’m stuck at work with limited data but I bet it sounds amazing. I have a love for the 2005 Pride and Prejudice movie’s music personally.

We’re not really doing a lot with planning at the moment as we kind of need to sort out work related things (fiancé is possibly moving jobs out of a school and into an office which would open up a whole lot more dates for us and make things distinctly cheaper). However, board games are a big part of our lives and one of the main interactions we have with our friends and family so we’re considering asking if the local board game cafe might be willing to set up at our reception.

Jacqui90 :  A book theme sounds wonderful! I recently bought (even though wedding is March next year – but I am too excited and LOVE being orgised…… a “naff” but cute cat cake topper (we wanted a want to include our two cats somehow!) and a yellow umbrella. I am in the UK and the weather is so crazy I wanted a nice umbrella for photos outside if it is raining, it was half price and arrived last week and I have already used it as Spring is very wet right now!

Oh this is super exciting.  I love that version of Pride and Prejudice.

We’re not having a theme per say but for the reception we’ve decided we will probably hire mini golf.  Instead of a photobooth we’re going to buy a cheap polaroid camera.

We’ve not decided on music, I’m a regular church goer and love anything choral whereas Fiance hates it! I thought we could have “Consider Yourself” (either on the organ or with the choir) for the recessional as it is so fitting and I am a big musicals fan but Fiance isn’t keen on that either.  We’ll get there.

MsBeer :  we were thinking orange umbrellas for the same reason.

Hi. We are getting married in Europe (we are both European) and since my fiancé has a very big family and our friends had been giving birth on like weekly basis, we are going to have around 16 kids between 2 months and 12 years old. So I was thinking about it for a while and I have decided to geta trampoline for th ewedding (we are getting married in my fiancés family wineyard so it will be our own home).

I would love a second line but in NYC that’s not quite feasible. Instead think we’ll have some drum majors do a drum line performance. If not we’re looking for another form of non-traditional performance. I want to have an short entertainment section that people will remember and talk about for years.
