I don’t smoke my eyes everyday…but I use a TON of mascara. I can’t help it, I LOVE big lashes. I also wear a lot of lipstick in every shade…reds, pinks, browns, etc. In a casual convo with my Fiance he volunteer some information that will help me on the wedding day.
He said that he doesn’t like it when girls are natural and pretty all the time, and then they get their makeup professionally done and its way too much and they don’t look like themselves. And he said the pictures don’t represent who they are.
I use a lot of makeup because I just LOVE makeup and playing with it, but I will try to not go over board for our wedding because of what he said. I’ll keep my big lashes and red lipstick, but I’ll keep the rest the way I normally do it.
I’ve never thought about having my makeup done. I’ve always done my own and I had it done “professionally” once for a friends wedding and I hated it. I guess my biggest tip is to do what you do for a normal night…just what makes you feel good and don’t feel obligated to look a certain way or pile on a ton of product if you aren’t comfortable in it. I think as long as your face isn’t shiny in pictures, no one is gonna care what shade of eye shadow you wear.

I use the awesome covergirl foundation the ellen advertises:) It’s expensive, but very worth it. I use a lot of mascara since I love my eyes and think they’re my best feature and I wear lipstick. Even when I have a “lazy day” I’ll put some lipstick on when I go to the store and makes me feel put together. I keep everything else natural:)
