Appetizer: Spanikopita, crab balls, sweet & sour meatballs, vegetable/cheese display.

Plated Dinner: Ceaser salad, stuffed chicken breast or crab cake, roasted potatoes, green beans, corn bread or rolls, sweet tea

Dessert: Cake!!!

We’re having a beach wedding in Crete, Greece:

BREAD BUFFET
Bread rolls

SALAD BUFFET
Greek salad, tuna salad, Caesar salad, corn on the cob, tzatziki

CHEESE BUFFET
Gruyere, manouri, roquefort, feta, blue cheese

WARM DISHES
Spanakopita (spinach pie), loukanopita (sausage roll), penne with tomato sauce, moussaka, pork with pepper, mushrooms & feta cheese, potato wedges, rice with local mushrooms

LIVE COOKING BBQ (ON THE BEACH)
Pork souvlaki, Greek beef burgers, chicken kebabs, pita bread, corn on the cob

DESSERT
Seasonal fruits, Greek sweets

MIDNIGHT SNACK BAR
Pizza margarita, club sandwich, potato chips

I loved the idea of miniature food for the cocktail hour, mini hot dogs, pizzas, tacos etc. But after our tastings we decided to keep it on the lighter side for cocktail hour so our guests still had room for the actual dinner.

Starters at cocktail hour:

-Caprese skewer

-Fruit skewer

-Mini grilled cheese with tomato soup

 

We’re doing a standard ceaser salad

 

Main Course:

-Carved tri tip with chimichurri and au jus

-Chicken marsala

 

Sides:

-Roasted seasonal vegeables

-Garlic mashed potatoes

-Five cheese mac and cheese (yuuuuuuum!)

 

And then we’re having a late night french fry and onion ring bar

-Steak fries

-Curly fries

-Onion rings

with all kinds of sauces!

 

We’re foodies so Im super excited about our menu haha
