There is probably already a thread like this out there somewhere, but here’s a new one! We just finished our consultation with our caterer and now I’m excited about our food!
After the ceremony, we will open the bar and have an “elegant” cheese board (cheese, meats, crackers, grapes, etc) and petite quiches.
For dinner we are having:
Field greens with tomatoes, red onions and julienne carrots in vinaigrette
Herb grilled chicken with mushroom cream sauce
Roast garlic mashed potatoes
Sauteed green beans with onions and peppers
Artisan breads with butter
And for dessert we have cake, of course. Also chocolate fondue with things to dip such as mashmallows, brownie bites, pretzels, strawberries, cookies, etc.
I was never excited about a big wedding before (I wanted to elope) but this stuff is actually pretty fun!
