@MsYankee:  I like to think that I am on top of it haha! Dining in Chicago can get very expensive, so i knew I had to book a place ASAP; we booked back in October. The restaurant  has a 400.00 minimum for Thursday which is right in my budget!

@BreezyBride24:  I love that. So fresh and bright.

We have a weekend planned in February to go down to DC and get our marriage license ahead of time. I also have an alterations appointment scheduled for the end of February. I’m a little nervous about my dress. I seemed to have gained about 5 pounds and the very top inch of my dress doesn’t zip, although the hook-and-eye clasp closes. I’m a little worried, but almost everyone I’ve spoken to says that is easily altered? Also, I should stop eating! Wink

Otherwise, we have to get these invites printed, I need to buy my shoes and sash (VOTE HERE because I have no idea what I’m doing!). Seriously. Why is a sash so hard.

Went to my first dress fitting this weekend!  Only have to have it altered at the top to be taken in oh so slightly.  $112 just for that. Frown  Get to see it again at the end of March.

We printed our wedding invitations this weekend as well, major pain in the butt.  We designed our own, and decided to print at home.  Well my printer is about 10 years old, and is crap, I have not used it in 2-3 years!  It wanted to take 3-4 invitations at a time, or print one and then jam one.  So I sat there an hand fed the printer one by one for the 75 invitations.  Overall though, I love them, they all look great.  They all have a ribbon at the top, have about 30 done.  Still have to print RSVP cards, yay! I will still do it all again though considering we only paid $35 for everything.

@BreezyBride24:  How unique!  I like ones like that which are unique like that.  Too many these days are so similar.

EEEEEE!!! 94 days for me and I cannot wait! I finally get to see my dress this Friday (ordered last MAY!), our invitations are in and just need to be assembled and stuffed into the envelopes. Next thing up is waiting on the RSVPs and getting placecards made, stuffing out of town guest boxes, etc. Coming up so fast!!!

We just got our invitations in the mail and are planning to stuff/address them this weekend while watching the Super Bowl. Hopefully his parents will have sorted out their guest list by that point!

We are also meeting with a photographer today, so hopefully we can get that booked.

After that, we just need transportation. Then we are all set with the must-haves. Anything else we book would just be extra/fun (photobooth, food truck, other ideas).

I can’t believe its just 101 days away for us!!!!
