@nikix:  It is not platinum, its white gold.  Here is the link…Shane Co.

It sparkles like crazy!

But they have similar ones in platinum too!  Like this one…

CUT: Radiant

COLOUR: F

CLARITY: VVS1

CARAT-WEIGHT: center stone 2.01, not sure about baguettes’ weight

in platinum setting.

Pre-wedding e-ring only pic, can’t get another decent one with my set.  I had a terrible time finding a wedding band to sit flush, didn’t want to rock the gap.  At first I wanted an eternity band then realized I love the plain band, makes it a more low key set–I’m not a huge bling fan.

Darling Husband did great–I had zero input and my ring and proposal were a complete surprise on Christmas Day 2011.  I had never heard of a radiant cut (until I read about it on the Bee, you guys know everything about jewels!) and I love it, it is a little uncommon.

By The Way, how do you guys get such great pics of your rings–any tips? Every time I take them they come out awful and either make it look like there are inclusions which there are none, and/or the color is wonky or the stone looks cloudy or something 🙁

 ETA

here’s a really crappy cell pic of the set.
