I’m a wound care nurse, although I’m home right now due to covid-19 symptoms. My test was negative and I should be returning to work this Thursday. My engagement ring is a late Victorian/Early Edwardian piece made of rose gold, ruby and chunky/funky mined diamonds. I don’t wear it to work, just a plain rose gold band. I need to be able to insert my hand/finger(s) into wounds if necessary and I can’t do that with my engagement ring. Right now as a precaution I’m not wearing any jewelry to work.

I work in a diagnostic laboratory doing medical testing and as of current we’ve been focused in the Covid testing and antibody tests. I can’t wear my ring at work because it breaks through my glove. 😭 I’m newly engaged so it kills me that I can’t wear it all the time.

Love this thread! Everyone’s rings are beautiful! I am the Practice Manager for a very busy allergy and asthma care practice. We are still open due to the fact that asthmatics are in the high-risk group and get need to get everyone’s asthma under control. Hope all you ladies and your loved ones are safe!

I am a Learning Management System administrator for an industrial supplier. In layman’s terms, I make sure that our employee’s online training website is user-friendly and functioning properly, as well as loading and assigning online training to our employees! My company is considered essential, since we provide PPE and other essential products, so I’ve been working from home for about a month now!

I’m an RN. I only wear the wedding band or a silicone band when I am doing direct patient care.
