I originally was convinced I wanted to wear a netted birdcage veil but since I got my dress, it seems that there is too much going on with the gown itself to accomodate that. Now I’m thinking of going with a short delicate tulle veil instead.
Anyone wear one for their wedding and mind sharing some photos? I’d love to see some options on real brides!
My dress has a very 1930s vintage look and an amazing lace back that I don’t want to cover up with a long veil. But I get very swoony with anything that has a vintage look, veil-wise too.

How about something like this? I snagged this pic for another Bee, thought it might give you some inspiration if you want to stick with the french netting.
This was mine, a tulle birdcage. It’s two layers, one ivory and one pink.

I’m also debating what kind of veil to wear. I originally wanted a birdcage veil but then started thinking bout a tulle veil/blusher. And now I just don’t know if i want to wear one at all! haha. I would love to see some pics too.

I too wanted a birdcage…BUT once I started to try them on they looked silly on me. I new I wanted something but nothing too big to cover the back of my dress as it was my fave part. I did a short bubble veil:

@Barika: That looks really pretty! Definitely one I’m going to consider. Thank you for sharing your pics.
