Savannah, GA is my favorite vacation destination, as well as were I got engage. At our wedding, we are serving Chatham Artillery Punch as a nod to Savannah, as well as Sam Adam’s Octoberfest beer (THE fall fav of he and I). What is everyon else serving and is there significance?

While I’m not sure we’ll be able to serve a signature drink at the wedding, we do have a signature drink at home.
2 measures Scotch Single Malt Whisky (ideally a light Island whisky like Talisker)
1/2 measure of Maple Syrup
dash of Angostura Bitters
Shake with ice until cold. Serve in an unadorned iced martini glass.

Everclear and cider and some other stuff.
He’s a redneck. And it goes with mason jars. Lol.

3 parts Cream Soda

@SpecialSundae: It’s 190 proof grain alcohol. The closest you can get to moonshine:) It’s actually illegal to buy in some states at that proof.

What You Need
- Handful of mint leaves
- 1/2 oz. fresh lime juice
- 1/2 oz. simple syrup*
- 1 oz. light rum
- 1/2 oz. fresh pink grapefruit juice
- 1/2 oz. grapefruit liqueur
- Sparkling water
How to Make It
- Muddle mint in lime juice and simple syrup.
- Add ice and remaining ingredients except sparkling water and shake briefly.
- Pour into a highball glass.
- Top with sparkling water.
I just don’t know where to get grapefruit liqueur in Canada!
