mrsv18 :  I wanted practical and sparkly for my wedding band and got a flush set diamond ring. I only have six diamonds but you could make them go all the way around or almost.

My oval solitaire is pretty high set so I don’t wear it for some activities, such as caring for my new baby πŸ™‚ but the wedding band looks great on its own so I’m really happy with my wedding band choice!!! πŸ™‚

mrsv18 :  Yay for fellow teacher bees! I wanted a shared prong band too, but in the end I decided on a pave band because it seemed more secure.  I am already so paranoid about bumping my rings (and I am a huge klutz) that I didn’t want the extra stress.  *sigh*  they are gorgeous, though!

Here’s my set:

HappyCatLady :  ooh my wedding band is similar but with 7 moissanites!

mrsv18: I’m a teacher too so needed something practical. I love it. It’s ridiculously comfy. I would like to get a thin eternity band in the future for special occasions though.

Here’s mine! I’m a simple girl. I really appreciate and drool over alot of bling and man o man was I tempted to go with a bigger wedding band. I’m glad I stayed true to myself and went with what was comfortable for me. I still felt like I needed a tad bit more so I added the twisted rope ring.

The pic with my band is a terrible one of the diamond (it looks so cloudy here – ugh!) but it’s the only one I have on my phone to share. πŸ˜•  I went the simple route with a smooth white gold band to match the one on my e-ring.

mrsv18 :  I am a stay at home mom to a 3 year old so I am always doing something and for the longest time I had a solitaire and wedding band, but finally made the switch back to a single setting. because I always found that the diamond part of my band spent at least 50%+ of its time upside down  to where the diamonds were always on my palm side of my finger vs even with my diamond. I was always spinning it and trying to make it even and it was more of a bother for me. I wish I could have afforded an eternity band, if made well you shouldn’t lose diamonds, but I know there is just that thought of having 1/2 your diamonds exposed to whatever you’re working on as a teacher. So I decided this time I would go with a single setting with diamonds and if I get the urge to have a wedding band I will get maybe like a plain beaded band or twist band. I know I am not showing inspiration for a band with your ring, but I have had both and love both, the solitaire and band look and the single setting with diamonds too. Not sure you even are considering a single setting at all, I just know I was constantly finding my diamond band upside down rather than upright where it should be but to the whole eternity band fear, I never lost a diamond when they spent so much time upside down lol. I never wanted to get them soldered because I always liked the idea of just wearing my band if I wanted to, but never once did I, so maybe soldering would have fixed my issue. But I love your diamond and whatever you pair with it, it will look stunning.

tbenjamin4884 :  Same, gf—the spinning band drove me insane.  I finally switched to a plain band, and it looked beautiful with my ring, but the scratches and dulling bothered me. So now I’m having an eternity made, and we’ll just have to see how the stones fare!
