I use EA Active with my Wii. It’s going pretty well thus far.

Have you heard of Body Rock? (http://www.bodyrock.tv/) It’s a great website that will give you loads of information on home workouts–bodyweight based exercise which requires little or no extra equipment. I use it on the days I don’t go to the gym. 🙂

I had great success using workout videos and a treadmill at home! I lost 20 pounds over the summer, and I felt great. It was a little awkward when Darling Husband would be there during my workout and could watch, but sometimes he’d join in, and even if he didn’t, I eventually got over the awkwardness. It helped to know that I could kick his butt in the workout department. 🙂

I LOVE Exercise On Demand.  I know it’s on Time Warner and Comcast, and guessing other cable companies have it.  They have a variety of different workouts so you don’t get bored (I love mixing up boot camp style, kickboxing, and yoga) and some will kick.your.ass.  They have Jillian Michaels, but I honestly think all of Cindy Whitmarsh’s are the most challenging and she even has 5 different cardio ab workouts.  She has one ‘quick’ cardio workout that nearly killed me and it was only 20 minutes long.  I also love how they have packages like Slim in 6 or something like that (which has a multitude of workouts and you focus on one thing a day), 10 minute workouts, and a lot of sample DVD’s you can try before you buy.  It’s how I got into Zumba.  My favorite workout, and I bought the DVD for less than $10 on Amazon is TurboJam.  It’s so fun that I’m not looking at my watch or waiting to die.  I wear 1 pound weight gloves to kick up the intensity with my punches.

I’m working out at home and used to be real shy in front of Fiance but after a few days I got over it.  With the cold weather I do jump rope in my parking garage.  I used to have a treadmil but I sold it since it takes too much space and my below neighbor complained about noise.  I heard about 30 day shed! It’s a work out DVD.

I have dropped a dress size doing P90X cardio X 3-4 times a week in my living room.

A secret: I do it on my laptop in my bedroom when there are people in the livingroom! (I have a room mate as well as FI)

Its FULL ON and I love it.
