I am having a hard time finding worn old books for our centrepieces. I can only find newer ones in good condition and it’s not looking like this:

theshannondee:  wow, let me start my list! I know I am so lucky to have these as my “problems” but they do matter!!!

So here goes….

I can only wear a MAX 2.75″ heel b/c I decided I did not want to pay more for the “Tall” version of my dress. I hate all the shoes available in 2.75 inches.

I want to go to a vineyard near our venue for our couple portraits but that means getting ready by 11:30 am and I really did not want to get ready until 1 pm so I could hang with my girlfriends more.

I cannot decide if I want my hair up or down. It is seriously stressing me out.

My tables might be a little closer together than expected…

Ok, that is enough complaining. I cannot wait to get married but it is totally normal to throw a fit when things are not going your way!!!

I hated my wedding ceremony shoes and want to throw them away. I had to wear wedges instead of my beloved heels because the ground was so wet from rain earlier that day and our ceremony was outside.  I know I should donate them but I kind of want to just destroy them. My dress was short so everyone saw them instead of my heels ….please call the whambulance. I should just be glad I wasn’t slowly sinking into the ground, didn’t have a big train that would have gotten ruined, and could still have the outdoor ceremony, but I am dwelling on my first world prob.

I want a 30 foot table filled with desserts at my reception, but it will cost $4,000… The ultimate first-world problem.

Thank you for starting this thread.  It feels good to vent a little about these silly things:

  • My seamstress last week got really annoyed with me because I lost a lot of weight and my dress needs to be taken in, so she said I’m not allowed to lose anymore weight for my Aug 2 wedding.  I am annoyed because I am only 3 lbs away from my goal (not my ULTIMATE goal, but my backup goal), but since I am barely 5’2, I’m afraid to lose the weight in case it affects the fit of the dress.
  • My Future Mother-In-Law insisted on giving us a second favor for our wedding, even though we already have one.  It’s a nice offer, but it doesn’t match and it’s one more thing we have to worry about a week before the wedding.
  • My friend is insisting on bringing a basket full of flip flops for women to change into.  I really don’t want this at our wedding, but she won’t give up on it.  I guess I have to let her bring it even though it’s doesn’t fit the tone of our wedding.
  • I bought light blue pearl hair pins for my hair as my “something blue.”  I hate them now and hair stylist agrees.  Now I have no “something blue,” and all my other accessories are already purchased (jewelry, shoes, garter, undies…).
