baileyjosephine:  Yeah we’re planning to have a party with them after we come back! And we see them all the time here anyways. Will you get to see your friends at all who aren’t coming?

Looked for weeks for the exact bamboo wedding arch I found online set up at my wedding venue to no avail and quickly became pretty sure finding a bamboo wedding arch took approxinately 5 years off my life expectancy.  I give the task to my fiance and he finds exactly the one I wanted in a few days.  He now is convinced he can be a wedding planner lol

If I gain a little weight my dress will fit perfect and I won’t need to get alterations. But I want to lose some weight before the wedding! Everyone says I look thin but I’ve actually put on 25 lbs since moving across state to be near my fiancee. No one sees it but me.

theshannondee:

My Fiance got a great new job offer, so we might have to postpone our honeymoon.

Mode:  I’m having a pretty formal wedding but the dance floor is mexican tile (its a 1920s estate) and we’re providing a container with sparkly flip flops that says “dancing shoes”. So, perhaps if they’re displayed nicely and maybe with some sparkles or glitter added to them it won’t just be a bucket of plastic flip flops. I was hesitant at first too because I felt like it was very “beachy” but I’ve seen them displayed nicely. I too thought about doing ballet flats, but I think they would be harder to fit for people being closed toe.

One of my bms decided that she wanted to lose weight and ordered her bm dress two sizes smaller on purpose. I am slightly freaking out about this because I picked up the dress without knowing and David’s is very hard with exchanges and returns. I am at a loss as to what to do.

My venue provides tablecloths and has pretty chairs so I don’t need chair covers – awesome right? Well they’re all white and I just found out the tablecloths they provide for the food and cake tables are black and they don’t go with my color scheme at all 🙁 I should just be happy that they’re free, but I’m upset and considering buying my own tablecloths to replace the black ones!

kb7:  Thanks for the tips! My coworker knew I had been looking and her husband was at a thrift store that is open bankers hours (and we have neer been able to visit because we are working when they are open) and filled two full reusable bags of vintage books for us! So sweet, and such a relief! I could def. rough them up a bit more though!

Now my only real problem is I hate taking pictures from the side because of my double chin, and I want to hide it  for the ceremony with my hair down- but having my hair down makes me really hot and sweaty lol. It is such a strugle to decide and I only have three weeks now!!
