I know a family with a little girl named Natalya- but the mom has a REALLY annoying accent and she sounds like she’s gagging when she calls her daughter. ‘nawtaawlyeeh’ is how it sounds. It drives me up a wall- and the little girl still can’t even say her own name haha. I think it’s pretty when it’s in a more Eastern European accent/surname.
I love the name Tristan for a boy and Sophia for a girl =)

I have a friend named Kerala – I believe she was named after somewhere in…Africa? India? It was a surf town her parents loved, and yup, Kerala is a surfer too 🙂 I’ve never heard that name before and I think it’s pretty!

Yes, but if kids know Shamu and then see Shamus – they might start on with that nickname.

I prefer them to refer to him as a water animal then a penis. I would like to keep the sperm jokes to a minimum if possible. But again, kids will always poke fun so you never win. I also worry that with Seamus people will CONSTANTLY be pronouncing his name incorrectly.

For a girl, I love the names Delphine, Harlow and Adelaide/Adeline.
For a boy, there are none I particularly love but I like Atticus, Ezra, and Micah.

I love the name Tally for a girl, always have since I was like 5 years old. But in grade 11 I made friends with a girl named Talhi (pronounced the same) so now Tally is out! I’m obsessed with Dahlia, but Ging says that just sounds like I was missing Talhi when I name the hypothetical baby.
I’m also all about Maximus. We are 100% for sure naming our first son Maximus. For girls, I love Illithia (ill-lith-ee-a) and I’m almost certain we’re naming our future daughter that.
So we have Maximus and Illithia – also known as Max and Leah for their “normal” nicknames.
