I love names that are not so common! I have an uncommon Shakepearan name and I love it! We aren’t pregnant, but we are most likely going to go with (uncommon) family names.
Anyways, for names that I think are unusual but awesome-
Boys- Odin, Egan, Lorcan (just heard this and it is so cool!), and Roarke/Ruarc.
Girls- Phaedra (pronounced Fay-dra), Siobhan (pronounced Shi-von), Halia, Liesel (pronounced Lee-sul), and Rosalind.
P.S. I love a bunch of the names y’all are giving!

The boys’ middle names and all of the girls names are family names.

I love the meaning behind names. Like when I was PG at 18 people said I should give the baby up for adoption because it would ruin my life. I liked the idea that the Phoenix went into the fire and took ignorance, malice, disease, etc with it and out of that fire hope was born. And sure enough when Phoenix was born everyone loved her and no one said a thing about her ruining my life. Which she hasn’t. π
Its funny though how names go in cycles. When I was little Stephanie, Stacey, Elizabeth, Laura were all popular. And now its the Riley, Madison, Savannahs. Having been a teacher its funny how you will have 3 of an “unusual” name in the same class!
Always loved the name Aiden. Too bad I’m not Irish and I doubt it would go with a Polish last name!

I also love Tinsley for a girl. I have a friend who has a baby girl named Harlow, everyone thought she was crazy but now I can imagine her being named anything else!

i feel kind of bad for my future children because all the names i seem to really love are very unusual. my favorites are days of the week and months of the year, but not so much the ones that would usually become names (like june, april, or may). for example, i love november or december as a girl’s name, partially because then “ember” gets to be her nickname. top of my list right now, though, is probably the name rain. i have no idea if my future husband will let me get away with using any of these names, but i can dream! XD

I kind of love rock music. That being said, I like Zepplin and Halen for uni-sex names. For a girl, I love Harper and for a boy, Asher.

I love Rhys Lucian for a boy, which I think is pretty unique. Fiance likes Rhys but isn’t keen on Lucian.
When (if) we start TTC, I guess we’ll have to think harder about real potential names.
We do have a girl’s name wrapped up though: Stella Grace. Not that unusual for the middle name, but I haven’t heard of too many Stella’s.
