I am obsessed with perfume, and the one of the BEST things about my fiance when we first met was how great he always smelled.. We have been talking about what cologne/perfume we are going to wear on our wedding day. He has one that he wore while in Jamaica on vacation, and it always reminds him of that time – so I thought any scent we wear on our wedding day will bring us back to that day.
My top two picks are Bobbi Brown Beach or Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb. I love them both – I haven’t ever owned either one, but I have had my eye on them for a while.
What cologne is your man wearing or what perfume are you wearing?!

I wore Chanel No. 5. I love its timelessness.

My Fiance doesn’t wear cologne. His “scent” is his deodorant, which I’ve told him he’s never allowed to change :p
I sometimes wear Stella McCartney’s “Stella” because it’s so timeless and feminine. Most perfumes are cloying (IMO), and sort of smack you in the face. Stella is sort of like smelling honeysuckle on a warm summer evening on the breeze. Enough to go “oh my gosh that’s nice” without coughing. Though it has a more dusty rose scent.
I will be wearing that for our wedding.

- Wedding: June 2014 - Gold Hill Gardens
I wore Jo Malone’s Sakura Cherry Blossom . . . It’s my favorite perfume. So I didn’t wear a special scent on the big day, but I did wear more of it than normal 🙂

I wore Hanae Mori HiM; it’s supposed to be a man’s fragrance, but it’s always smelled feminine enough to Darling Husband and me. It’s my daily spritz, but still special.

I love True. It reminds me of clean mountain air.

- Wedding: February 2014 - Windstar on Naples bay
One of my “unofficial bridesmaids” gifted me Romance by Raulph Lauren as a Christmas gift (my wedding was in febuary) as a Christmas / gift for my wedding. It was super thoughtful and the scent is super soft but strong that it sticks all day long. I love it!

I love perfumes and have so many different ones (Dior, Marc Jacobs, Prada), but the one I decided to wear for the wedding was “Something Blue” by Oscar de la Renta. The base notes are musk and vanilla which I love and its still light enough for an early summer wedding.

My husband wore Stetson which makes him smell amazing. I wanted a fragrance that complimented my bouquet’s scent so I choose Tocca Graciela. I love it!

thehappiestbridetobe: Mr. S doesn’t wear cologne that often and since he has to fly home for the wedding, I doubt he’ll remember to pack any. He could surprise me though. 🙂
I’m a big fan of Katy Perry’s Killer Queen. It does great things with my body chemistry and smells totally different on me. However, Mr. S made a gazillion comments about how good I smelled while wearing a sample of Theirry Mugler’s Alien – and he doesn’t often comment on my perfume. So, that’s what I’m planning to wear on the wedding day – in 16 days! Hmmm, guess I should go buy some soon…

I am leaning toward Bobbi Brown Beach. The notes are: a lightly intoxicating blend of sand jasmine, sea spray and mandarin, honestly it smells like sunscreen and clean linen, which sounds weird but it’s sooo amazing.
Soon2BeMrsS: Ahhhh Theirry Mugler’s Alien is amazing! I love that one!
librarygirl85: That sounds wonderfully awesome haha
hyzenthlay: Jo Malone has some goodies for sure. Haven’t smelled that one yet though!

I’m actually using the first perfume my mother gave me, when I was really young, probably around 6. It comes in a teeny tiny bottle and the brand name has been rubbed off. I wore it to my prom, going to wear it for my wedding, and if there’s any left for my funeral. I’ve kept it in a little box for years.
If that doesn’t work out or if it gets lost before that I think I’ll probably wear Yves Saint Laurent Parisienne, Guerlain Shalimar, or Versace Bright Crystal.

I think I’ll be wearing “Love” by Philosophy. It’s light and a little citrus-y and as an added bonus, it doesn’t give me a headache like 97% of perfumes/colognes.

I’ll be wearing Chanel “Chance eau tendre.”
futuremrschristensen: haha… my fiance too 🙂

mgbser: I love the eau tendre. It’s in my daily rotation. It’s one of my favourites. 🙂
I also wear Romance regularly. And J’adore by Dior.
I will likely wear Estee Lauder Pleasures – playful. It’s lovely and soft and girly. And I don’t wear it regularly (I’ve actually been waiting to buy it so the first day I wear it is our wedding day, I’ve tried it on my body a few times in store just to make sure my body chemistry doesn’t make it stink.)
