coloradohiker88 :  Yes, barefoot sandals.  I found mine on Etsy (https://www.etsy.com/transaction/1088403727) but there seem to be a lot more people making them and selling them these days.  We knew we were going to be in sand, and so shoes didn’t make sense.

I didn’t have many accessories because I didn’t want to take away from my dress, which had a lot going on between the lace and appliques, and because we were having a slightly more casual morning wedding. I had simple pearl drop earrings and three hair clips with pine cones and baby’s breath. I also added a sash.

My shoes were sturdy wedges for getting around camp. Nothing fancy!

aussie_25 :  oh I couldn’t afford them brand new either lol

I stalked eBay, I found them selling from the US for $160 AU (including shipping) second hand and the were only worn once and in amazing condition!

I made sure I got a lot of photos to see the condition before I committed!

not sure if the hair will be black or pink! not purple though, haha

I have a veil, but it’s my sisters (something borrowed! She splurged on an expensive designer one, and she was happy to get to use it twice, haha) and she’s bringing it out when she flies here (we live 2,000 miles away). It’s a fully beaded cathedral viel. I do have a back veil in case something happens that I got for $5 at a sample sale! score!

I know I’m mixing metallics (gold lace, silver head piece, my E ring and band are platinum, but my mother is gone and I will be wearing her channel set diamond hoop earrings, which are yellow gold, and her marquis after dinner ring, which is yellow gold as well).

kreeneth :  Thank you! It’s lighter than I expected, but yes! I went to Swarovski to try it on and I was so in love with it I bought it straight away πŸ˜‚

My mum thought it might be too blobby but agreed it suited the dress πŸ˜€

I got the matching earrings too but not for the Wedding

Here was my wedding day look! I don’t wear jewelry so I kept it pretty simple in regards to that. I also loooved the back of my dress so I chose to skip the veil and keep it showing! I wore a little flower crown in my hair and I have a foot problem so I had to wear flats!

ssir0721 :  Your dress…especially the unexpected lace panel on the back is just stunning. Simple elegance for sure!

My dress was the Madison by Anna Campbell, shoes were $20 (purchased online), hair in a side fishtail, very minimal jewellery, mid-length veil and a pink and white bouquet. We had an intimate beach wedding with family and friends πŸ™‚

teambryan :  thank you! I wanted something with lace the whole time but I hated everything lacy haha. Then I tried this and it was perfect!!! The lace is also on the train on the back but I don’t have a great picture of that unfortunately!
