I’m talking true crazy wedding dreams. I had my first last night. In mine, fiancé and I somehow forgot to have a rehearsal. We forgot to exchange vows or rings at the ceremony and didn’t realize till later. My sister wasn’t there. And everyone saw my dress ahead of time. The craziest part… I had to go down a trash shute in order to go inside my venue. Lol!
That’s mine. Share your weird or crazy wedding related dreams/nightmares.

My best friend had a dream that our wedding was a “walking wedding” and we did the ceremony and the reception while walking over rolling hills. There may have been horses…

Edit: I orginially misread this to say Wedding DRAMA.
My craziest wedding dream was very early. We had a 14 month engagement and I dreamt that we planned half the wedding for June 23rd 2011 and the other half June 23rd 2012. We HAD to get married in 2011 (in my dream) and I had a dress but no veil or flowers and only half the guests. We had the church and the reception site but no band or food.
I had a lot of anxiety over our long engagement! I HATED it!

#1 dreamt the bridal shop lost my veil and couldnt get my alterations done on time…this is extra tragic because I love my veil more than anything so I called the bridal shop today andtherm them check to make sure it was there yah I’m crazy
#2 I dreamt that I forgot about my wedding day and didn’t have money to pay anyone I didn’t send invites and only half the people showed up and everything was awful!
And there’s more but it’s hard to type on an iPhone but lets just say stress=nightmares for me

So funny I saw this thread because I NEVER remember dreams but last night I had a strange one. My Fiance and I were disucssing wedding plans when all of a sudden our mutual friend (who happened to be the last person I was texting before I fell asleep) showed up at the house to tell me that she and Fiance were having an affair and wanted to be the one to tell me. In the dream I went ballistic and Fiance acted like it was NO big deal! I woke up SO confused and immediately started thinking maybe it was true! THis mutual friend (who used to work with FI) is happily married and and I know it wasn’t true but I was shocked that I woke up and for a split second thought it was! I text her about it and her reply was that it wasn’t a dream it was a nightmare and she loves me (and her hubby) way too much to ever even think about something like that. LOL

I kept having nightmares about EVERYTHING going wrong– We forgot to book the venue! We never sent out invitations! The DJ never showed!
I woke up in the throws of one, realized it was a dream, and fell back to sleep. This time, I was at our wedding and it was beautiful. Everyone was there, the decorations were breathtaking, my fiance’ and I were dancing to our song… I had never felt happier. I looked down to see my new wedding ring coupled with my engagement ring and OH HOLY GODDAMNIT ARE YOU KIDDING I CAN’T EVEN! We forgot to have the ceremony!!! We’re not actually married!!!
I woke up panicking, telling my fiance’ that I had to write all of this down so I wouldn’t forget on our actual wedding day. I don’t think I’ve ever heard him laugh so hard as he assured me, “Honey, I promise, we will not forget that part.”

A few nights ago, I had a dream that my Fiance grew a ponytail before our wedding and refused to cut it. And appaerntly in dream-world, it was the worst thing that had ever happened lol.
I woke up so upset, told him he couldn’t grow a ponytail before the wedding, and he laughed at me 🙂

OK, I’m going to be honest but it may be a little Too Much Information, so just a warning…
OK you’re reading? My worst one was that I had diarrhea all over my dress. I got one of my bridesmaids to have everyone gather in a corner and pray or send good wishes to the sky for the new couple, with eyes closed. I ran inside and just jumped in the shower, and told my new husband to talk to everyone to get me something to wear. The lady at the concierge desk ended up giving me her clothes and sitting in her undies in my hotel room, and I pretended like it was a going away outfit.
I also had one where we clanged our glasses and they shattered on me and stabbed into my chest. This was shortly after the previous nightmare, so I was prepared and had another dress to change into. It was fine, and i went to finish cutting the cake. Worrying and coming up with backup plans helps your dreams too!

I haven’t had any weird dreams yet, but my Fiance woke up yesterday morning in a bit of a panic. He dreamed that we forgot to get an officiant and a marriage license, so when it got to be ceremony time we couldn’t get married.
It doesn’t really help that we’re about 4.5 months out and we don’t have an officiant, but at least I told him we can’t get a marriage license yet because it’s still too early 🙂

- Wedding: September 2014 - Lodge
@ghiagirl893: Lol how funny and horrible. I hope that doesn’t happen on your wedding day.
My most recent dream was that on the day of our wedding I was getting ready and realized I forgot to pick up my wedding dress which is over an hour away. So while my groom and wedding party are taking wedding pictures without me I’m driving like a bat out of hell to get my wedding dress. Then I realize on my way to get it that I never had any fittings or alterations done! I get to the shop and my dress (a corset back) was tied as tight as it would go and just slid right off me. I bawled and the consultant said “Don’t worry we can fix it fast” So the alterations lady took the dress in with colored yarn. So my dress had bright blue yarn stitched onto one side of my dress and bright green on the other side. I bawled because my colors are red and orange and why couldn’t they at least use yarn in my wedding colors. I woke up paniced for several reasons but mostly why would I be OK with YARN being used to stitch my lace wedding gown so it could be taken in like 6 inches?!?!? LOL ugh wedding planning can be stressful I guess.

@NurseMandie: I know! Our fears really do come out. I am just so worried that Fiance or I are going to be really sick!

OMG I am cracking up reading these! Our wedding is taking place on a bluff overlooking a beautiful mountain side and although the site is perfectly safe, there is the potential for something terrible to happen (aka people falling off the cliff) if people act stupid. In my dream, my dad and I were walking across this one section that has HUGE drops on each side and the train on my dress got snagged and I plummeted down into the gorge below. It was one of those nightmares that made me sit up straight, gasping for air!
Also, my FH loves outdoor activities and enjoys going repelling so he has joked that after we say “I Do” that we should have repelling gear on under our clothes and leap off the side of the mountain! I seriously think he’d actually do it if I’d let him, but anyway, in another dream I had, we performed this stunt and our ropes weren’t tied well and we fell to our death. Cynical, huh?! Can you tell where my biggest anxieties are with this ceremony site?! I know it will all be fine, but I still have this slight worry that someone is going to get curious, lean over the side and slip and fall o_O
@slcall: Yours tickled me the most! Too funny :o)
