@M1cha3la:  My hair is strawberry blonde, and not the best for lazer… but I did it anyway, and while it’s not the best, it’s MUCH better then it was. You could never really SEE the hair on my legs, but you could feel the stubble, which annoyed me SO much. Now, there are still hairs, but it’s WAY softer and finer then it was.

I like everything to be smooth.

The hair above my knee is translucent and fine, so you I don’t shave it as often as my lower legs, but I probably shave my thighs and least once a week.

Then I get my entire bikini area waxed. So I prefer to be totally hairless from like the waist down lol.

I shave just above the knee. I may shave above if I wear a skirt or shorts, just because, but otherwise no.

For all of you ladies that have to shave, how long does it take?  Do you shave daily?  I’ve never had to shave, but I’m beginning to think that’s because I’m asian (no one in my family shaves their legs).

@M1cha3la:  I don’t, unless they are going to be exposed, and then I prefer nair because I get ingrown hairs on my thighs and bikini if I shave (no problems below the knees though). I am an infrequent shaver anyway, and I keep meaning to put my epilator to good use but I am too lazy/indifferent even for that.

My mom taught me that “don’t shave above the knee” thing too, but I don’t follow it. Maybe it’s generational. I shave my lower legs about every other day and the top of my legs about once a week.

I never realized so many people didn’t shave above the knee! When my friends and I all started shaving we all shaved above the knee and I guess I always thought everyone else did too! Lol now I sometimes only shave below the knee if I’m short on time or being lazy and know that no one will see.

@thursdayschild:  ugh, it is but it literally will drive me nuts if I leave it and feel prickly little hairs anywhere lol. it’s really not awful tough and because I keep up with it, my skin is used to it and I almost never get razor burn either.

@TammieRei:  Shaving twin.  I do this, almost exactly.  I am blessed with extremely light, fine and slow-growing body hair, though.  In winter, I shave once every 2 weeks, and in summer, once a week.

@M1cha3la:  Not really. The hair above my knee never even grows in ‘prickly’ or anything. It’s so fine it’s just like the peach fuzz on my upper arms. I can just tell after a week when it looks ‘fuzzy’ so I shave it again.

Yeah, but not as often as below the knee, since it’s finer and not usually visible.  I wish I could get laser hair removal on both of my legs, above and below the knee, but it’s sooo expensive!
