@ThreeMeers:  Bless you.  Guess who’s getting a new beard trimmer tomorrow??  Funny, b/c it just dawned on me that I beg him not to shave his face, but want the opposite down south…

Yup. Infact he does it for me. He can see everything better than I can.

There is a shaving cream that actually softens the hair, be it pubics ,arm pits or legs.  It is called “coochy cream” they also make a protective mist to prevent razor burn.  I just ordered some online works great

@Lt.Columbo:  I totally agree. Same is true for not calling women who don’t shave “disgusting” and “unclean.”

My gyno actually said its not a good idea to shave because the hair is there for a reason and shaving makes your vagina more susceptible to infection.

I got a brazilian wax for our honeymoon and while my husband wouldnt require such things, I can really tell he appreciated it! I did too, it was more sensitive and and looked nicer in my lingerie and bikinis. It wasnt that bad to have it done either, if I had the money I would never shave again.

@jjmomma:  LOL I was totally going to second the trimmer.

@indibee:  Yes guys do wax, for the longest time I had a couple of my male friends trying to send me to “their lady” at a place called Pink Cheeks.

@Harley1313:  I’ve heard of Coochy Cream, Ive been interested in trying it.

Oh I don’t think there is anything wrong about wanting to do it for whatever particular reason. The change in attitude about hair “down there” completely caught me by surprise. Then again I don’t go around talking to a lot of women about their, eh, personal grooming habits either. I do apologize fo sharing the male commentary.

It saddens me when women say it disgusts them when they have hair on their vaginas. There is so much emphasis these days on what a vagina should look like its actually quite horrible to think that now we have visual standards for EVERY part of our body.

We all have preferences, but the fact that women these days being disgusted at the thought of hair down there saddens/frightens me. I certainly wouldnt want my daughter feeling dirty at the first signs of pubic hair down below or anywhere for that matter.

Being shaven doesn’t make sex so much better, as I read they posters say. I’m having the best sex of my life and I only trim. Why do I trim? Because I have crazy sensitive skin and caused me much heart ache when I do shave. After speaking to a many of doctors and gynos they are told me we have hair there for a reason, it’s not good to go bare.

Could someone enlighten me on why the thread title claims it’s easier getting it in? Am I reading it wrong? Last I checked you can still get it in with a full bush.

My Fiance wants me to grow it out. I’m trying to, but its SO uncomfortable. I’m definitely shaving tonight. I cannot stand it. I want to get a wax so bad, but I’m way too nervous of people seeing me down there to get it done, and I tried to do it once my self and didnt get any hair off, just a lot of pain. XD

Haha, this thread has prompted me to go and book a waxing appointment early next week!

I think that you should be able to do whatever you want, and I pretty much go between waxing and trimming- never shaving, because I can’t imagine the stubble, which would lead to an endless cycle of shaving, and that just doesn’t interest me.
